Terms of service
Version 2026-10-08. Rebasely is in beta: data may be purged.
These terms apply to your use of Rebasely (rebasely.com, duragitusercontent.com, and Rebasely's git, SSH, API and Actions endpoints). By creating an account you accept them, together with the acceptable use policy and the privacy notice.
Beta service
Rebasely is a beta service. It is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Repositories, accounts and other data may be deleted ("purged") during the beta, with or without notice. Keep your own copies of anything you care about.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for what happens under your Rebasely account, including through access tokens and SSH keys you create. Keep your passkeys, tokens and keys safe, and revoke a token or key as soon as you suspect it leaked.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you push. You give Rebasely permission to store, copy and serve it as needed to run the service, including to people you share it with and, for public repositories, to anyone. You are responsible for having the right to push it.
Public repositories and stars
A repository is private until an owner makes it public. Anyone, signed in or not, can read, clone and download a public repository, including its full history and the names and email addresses in its commits, and can see its star count. Copies people made while a repository was public stay with them after it is made private again.
Acceptable use
You must follow the acceptable use policy. Among other things, it forbids mining cryptocurrency, malware, attacks on other systems and child sexual abuse material. Rebasely may restrict, suspend or remove accounts, repositories and runs that break it, or that put the service or other people at risk.
Copyright and repeat infringers
Rebasely responds to notices of claimed copyright infringement under the DMCA policy, sent to dmca@rebasely.com, and accepts counter-notices as it describes. An account is a repeat infringer when Rebasely has removed or disabled its content in response to 3 or more valid copyright notices within 12 months, not counting notices that a counter-notice answered and that were not followed by a lawsuit. Rebasely terminates the accounts of repeat infringers, and may terminate an account sooner for clear, deliberate infringement.
Reporting abuse
Report content or behavior that breaks these terms to abuse@rebasely.com, and security vulnerabilities to security@rebasely.com (see security).
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your account page. Rebasely may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, and may end the beta service, with notice where it reasonably can.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Rebasely is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service.
Changes
When these terms change, the version above changes and you are asked to accept the new version the next time you open a Rebasely page while signed in, before any other page. Using Rebasely's git, SSH, command-line or API access after a change also means you accept it.
